In accordance with the guidelines from The Ministry of Community and Social Services, we are obliged to consider only requests for service on behalf of individuals residing within any of our four regional boundaries for which Kerry’s Place Autism Services receives funding. The four regional boundaries for Kerry’s Place Services are the Toronto Region, Central East Region (serving York/Simcoe and Durham), Central West Region (serving Peel/Halton, Dufferin and Waterloo/Wellington Counties) and South East Region (serving Hastings, Prince Edward, Lanark, Lennox & Addington, Leeds & Grenville, Frontenac and Kingston area).

Those individuals residing outside of these catchment areas should contact either the designated central access point for their respective catchment area or the local regional office of the Ministry of Community and Social Services for information regarding services within their respective locales.

For those who are eligible for residential services offered by Kerry’s Place, we require submission of the following information:

• proof of diagnosis of Autism/PDD

• and completion of intake forms

If and when a residential vacancy should arise at one of the KPAS residential centres, those applications on file from residents residing within the respective catchment area of the program will be considered for placement. The information provided will be shared with other agencies in the catchment area according to their central intake process.
